FIRST TEST Location: Esna, Estonia / July 2021
Our first experiments with the projector were done in July 2021 in Esna, Estonia. The idea of SOUP was just beginning and we did not know where it would bring us. We decided to continue our journey. After the first few images we had to leave to separate countries, and we began making plans to meet again in a few months.
Location: New Jersey + Pennsylvania, USA / November 2021
The first SOUP expedition took place in the United States, in abandoned places of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The results of this month-long expedition were placed in a few projects:
A romantic fairytale diary Optical Artefacts (exhibited in Union of Artists of Saint Petersburg, Russia, Dec.2021).
A research-based project Jersey Devil.
We also made many individual Artworks.
